RANCANG BANGUN BODY KENDARAAN DAN PENGECETAN PADA MOBIL LISTRIK 60 VOLT

Abstract

The development of electric vehicles is rapidly advancing as an environmentally friendly, energy-efficient transportation solution that reduces dependence on fossil fuels. Body design plays a crucial role in supporting the efficiency and safety of electric vehicles. This research aims to design and build a lightweight, aerodynamic, and structurally sound 60V electric vehicle body that offers sufficient operational strength. The methods used include literature review, needs analysis, 3D design using CAD software, selection of appropriate materials, and fabrication and evaluation of the vehicle body. The design results demonstrate that the body is capable of supporting the frame structure, supporting the vehicle's power efficiency. The body prototype was visually and mechanically tested to ensure compliance with the initial design and the requirements of 60V electric vehicles. It is hoped that the results of this research can serve as a reference in the development of small-scale electric vehicles, focusing on body design efficiency and user safety.
