RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PENGEREMAN JENIS CAKRAM PADA KENDARAAN MOBIL LISTRIK
Abstract
The disc brake system is a crucial component in vehicles for slowing down and stopping their motion. Although disc brake systems have been around for a long time, there are still many challenges to address and innovate, such as comfort levels, responsiveness, safety, user control limitations, and difficulties in overcoming obstacles higher than the road surface. As a solution to these issues, this development focuses on innovating the steering and suspension components to make them more relevant to the planning of future electric vehicles. This includes several new features such as the design of the brake pedal, the fabrication of a brake pedal directly connected to the master cylinder to maximize braking performance, and the fabrication of the brake pedal mount. The methodology used in this final project includes data collection, design of the disc brake system using Autodesk Fusion software, fabrication, assembly of all components that have been fabricated, painting, and final assembly leading to conclusions. Based on the planning, the measurement of the disc brake system created in this final project includes the final processes of painting and assembly.
