The increasingly developing digital era means that higher education institutions in Indonesia face challenges in managing academic journals efficiently and effectively. This research focuses on the design and implementation of a web-based campus journal information system using Open Journal Systems (OJS) from the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) at Politeknik Baja Tegal. This research aims to increase efficiency and effectiveness in managing academic journals. The design process involves comprehensive needs analysis and system design based on literature studies, observations and literature studies. Implementation shows that OJS is able to organize and facilitate the process of managing writers and editors, evaluating articles, and distributing published articles. This system also allows integration with various other supporting tools, so that the journal publishing process becomes more structured and well supervised. OJS provides features that support transparency and accountability in the editorial process, increasing author and reader trust. The implementation of OJS at Politeknik Baja Tegal is expected to improve academic reputation, support the development of science, and make a positive contribution to the dissemination of knowledge.
